POSITION : Manufacturing Systems Engineer

Job Description

• Optimise plc and scada software and equipment availability and reliability
• Support line teams with plc and scada troubleshooting
• Maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation and measuring devices
• Field instrumentation maintained and calibrated
• Facilitate problem solving and decision making
• Optimise and facilitate team performance/dynamics
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements

• Minimum B.ENG/HND in Electrical/Electronics
• Good knowledge of best practices in manufacturing
• Good knowledge of best practices in asset management is required
• Knowledge /experience in siemens PLCS programming is very important
• High Analytical and evaluative skills
• Membership of COREN/NSE will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 7 years prior experience in a FMCG environment
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
• Microsoft office proficiency
