Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) was established in 1954 by ports Act ( Cap 155 of the law of the Federation of Nigeria - amended 1999 ). NPA is a government owned agency charged with the responsibility of Port Administration in the following locations; Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, Warri and Calabar.

POSITION : Radio Officer II

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of Radio/ VTS Equipment
  • Ensures optimal functions of communication facilities
  • Monitors quality of radio communications

Qualifications

  • B.Sc or HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Information Technology
  • Standard for Training Certification and Watch Keeping (STCW’ 95)
  • Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS)
  • Age between 23 - 35 years.

Remuneration
Salary Scale: SSS4 (GL 08)
