United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited we have over 50 years of continuous operations specializing in land and swamp 2D, 3D and 4D seismic data acquisition and has conducted seismic surveys for all the major oil companies operating in Nigeria.

POSITION : Senior Mechanic

 Description

  • We are seeking to employ a Senior Mechanic (Ref: SM17) for our operations.
  • The position involves the supervising of field workshops, preventative maintenance schedules and repairing various mechanical equipment including 4x4 Toyota Hilux vehicles/Mercedes 1017 Trucks / Generators / Static Plant / Marine / Camp accommodation and services.
  • The successful applicant will be computer literate, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office would be a distinct advantage, and must be able to swim.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years experience of diesel powered equipment, with 5 years controlling a maintenance workshop, qualified to minimum of City and Guilds.
  • The position is single status with an excellent leave and benefits package.
