Charkin Maritime and Offshore Safety Academy, a maritime and offshore safety training institution invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below:

POSITION : Registrar

Requirements

First degree, second class lower division plus fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience and at least three (3) years in the post of Director or six (6) years as Deputy Registrar
Be a member of a registered professional body such as ANUPA, NIM, IPMA, AUA

POSITION : College Librarian

Requirements

A good Master's Degree with not less than 15 years experience as a Library Officer.
Evidence of research and publications and membership of relevant professional body.

POSITION : Library Assistant

Requirements

Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Library Science or its equivalent and evidence of computer literacy with three (3) years working experience.

POSITION : Merchant - Navy Cadets Regimental Unit Commander (RUC)

Requirement

Retired Nigerian Navy Commander or Captain.

POSITION : Library Officer

Requirements

Five (5) O' level credits(WASC/NECO/GCE) including English Language and Mathematics plus Higher National Diploma (HND) in Library Science with six (6) years relevant experience.

POSITION : Laboratory Technologist

Requirements

Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nautical Science plus three (3) years onboard ship experience.

POSITION : Engineer II

Requirements

Five (5) O' Level credits (WASC/NECO/GCE) including English Language and Mathematics.
First degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering plus three (3) years post qualification cognate experience
Master's degree.

POSITION : Assistant Lecturer (English Language)

Requirements

First degree in relevant subjects plus National Youth Service Corp, (NYSC).
Teaching experience in a higher institution will be a great advantage.

POSITION : Assistant Lecturer (French Language)

Requirements

First degree in relevant subjects plus National Youth Service Corp, (NYSC).
Teaching experience in a higher institution will be a great advantage.

POSITION : Assistant Lecturer (Citizenship Education)

Requirements

First degree in relevant subjects plus National Youth Service Corp, (NYSC).
Teaching experience in a higher institution will be a great advantage.

POSITION : Lecturer I (French Language)

Requirements

A good Master's degree in the relevant subject or minimum of First degree with six years teaching experience in a higher institution.

POSITION : Assistant Lecturer (Marine Engineering)

Requirements

First degree in relevant subjects plus National Youth Service Corp, (NYSC).
Teaching experience in a higher institution will be a great advantage.

POSITION : Lecturer I (English Language)

Requirements

Requirements

Requirements

A good Master's degree in the relevant subject or minimum of First degree with six years teaching experience in a higher institution.

POSITION : Senior Lecturer (Marine Engineering)

Requirements

Minimum of Master's degree in Marine Engineering or First class Marine Engineer's (Foreign going) Certificate of Competency (C. o. C.), with nine years teaching experience in a higher institution.
Evidence of research and publications and membership of relevant professional body.

POSITION : Lecturer II (English Language)

Requirements

A good Master's degree in the relevant subject or minimum of First degree with six years teaching experience in a higher institution.
