Petronomics Learning and Development Limited is recruiting to fill the position below:
POSITION : Laboratory Assistant Technician (1)
Requirements
- Completion of Ordinary National Diploma in Chemical Science or equivalent in any Science related discipline.
- 2 years related experience in analytical chemistry or product laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of proper chain of custody of sample receipts i.e. sample logging by date, time and sampler’s name.
- Assists Laboratory Coordinator in the preparing and conducting product testing and sampling, as well as cleaning and preparing laboratory equipment, cleaning work areas and keeping all laboratory supplies and equipment clean
- Maintain accurate records of products and orders materials.
- Support laboratory coordinator in carrying out prompt product sample collection and analysis.
- Ensure cleaning of glass wares and proper labelling, storage of reagents and samples.
- Any other tasks assigned by Laboratory Coordinator.
