We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Ground Support Equipment Technician (Electrical)

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full time

Role Description

Perform all the maintenance tasks on the Ground Support equipment in accordance with OEM approved documentation in compliance with Air Peace and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair aircraft ground support and industrial equipment and other associated electrical and electronic controls.
Read, interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and the electrical code specifications.
Test electrical and electronic equipment components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
Conduct preventive programs and general electrical maintenance.
May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators:

Achieve 95% of the Ground Support Equipment availability
Quality of Component and Equipment Maintenance (MTBF)
Number of incidents / accidents
Proper use of materials and consumables required for the Ground Support
Equipment maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Minimum).
At least 3 years Ground Support Equipment maintenance experience.
Knowledge in welding is an added advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to perform duties.
Good interpersonal, teamwork and Communication skills.
Knowledge of Aviation Legislation/Regulations.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Must have proven integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Safety awareness and good analytical thinking.
Excellent Customer service orientation.
