We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

Perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs to all refrigeration and air conditioning appliances in the plant and estate

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance which includes but is not limited to the following: fault analysis, component replacements, alignments and calibration, repairs, installation of new Air conditioning and refrigeration and modification if required
Develop or modify industrial HVAC equipment, according to available specifications
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance to all Management Systems
Perform installation of HVAC equipment using prescribed blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications installation procedures
Perform any other duties assigned by the HVAC Engineer

Requirements

Trade Test 1 + 8 years relevant Work experience.
An Ordinary National Diploma or its equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience

Skills and behaviours:

Good practical and technical skills
Good problem-solving skills
Awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices
An understanding of engineering drawings and principles
Communication skills
