Responsibilities:

The Field Engineer will be responsible to provide technical engineering advice and information to constructive supervision and craft to ensure construction work complies with client's engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction applicable to one or more work disciplines.
Act as the primary engineering contact to address and coordinate all Requests for Information from the contractors.
Provide coordination, mentoring, and management to less experienced field engineers.
The successful candidate will be accountable to the Installation Team Leader.
Actively champions safety.
Issues Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports on Contractors Field Engineering activities.
Understand technical drawings and specifications for Industrial construction.
Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material.
Prepare field design change requisitions and as build drawings, as required.
Good communication skills written and oral including technical communication.
Facilitate technical approvals to provide timely response and adhere to project schedule.
Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records, such as status reports, punch list items describing work to be done, sketches of work already completed, material calculations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Qualification and Requirements

HND or B.Sc. in engineering discipline or any related dicipline.
Current Bos/Huet offshore survival certificate is an added advantage.
Ability to use ACAD, MATHCAD, MS Project.
Good interpersonal and communication skill.
Experience in a similar position is an added advantage.
