Jumia Group is  recruiting to fill the position below: 

POSITION : Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Qualifications

  •  3 years experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Experienced in the following tooling:
    • Jenkins for automation of QA tasks
    • Behat or similar UI and API test automation tool
    • Postman or similar for API testing
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • lead the efforts of defining and specifying quality assurance standards, strategies, systems, tools and processes for testing and analyzing software reliability and performance.
  • Ensuring user's guide is up to date, authoring Knowledge Base articles, and internal training of Technical Support on new features.
  • Review specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities
  • Conduct tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs
  • Design and implement tests, develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality.
  • Produce comprehensive reports on its activity
