JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Company Secretary will be responsible for general legal advice, serve as board secretary, liaise with shareholders and regulatory authorities, manage the company’s image and corporate profile
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine the strategic direction for Legal department
- Provide in-house legal advice and opinions on issues relating to the company’s business and legal documents on behalf of the company
- Review, amend, vet and perfect agreements, contracts, bonds and other legal documents
- Ensure compliance with various statutory requirements of the law including procurement and renewal of licenses, agreement, etc
- Provide insight and advise management on statutory enactments which may affect the company
- Engage the services of and liaising with external solicitors to prosecute claims and defend lawsuits
REQUIREMENTS:
- LL.B (Hons) BL. A professional qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 10 years experience in post-call general legal practice, with experience in corporate law
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
- Oil & Gas industry experience will be an added advantage
- Experience relating with shareholders and regulatory authorities will be an added advantage
JOB TITLE: OIL TRADER

JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary function and responsibility of the Oil Trader is to act on behalf of clients to buy and sell physical commodities (including Crude Oil, PMS, AGO, DPK and Jet A1, Bitumen, LPFO, Base Oils, Chemicals and other specialty products).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the Company develops deep understanding of the markets in which they operate
- Provides input to the identification of business, regulatory, operational and performance risks, and the resolution of attendant issues.
- Supports transaction risk management efforts through the conceptualisation and execution of paper trades and other hedging strategies.
- Performs various forms of business, financial and technical analysis compiles reports providing critical information for the trading department for decision making.
- Prepares bid/tender documents
- Prepares registration packages to global counterparts, ensuring the company is registered and able to trade with these counterparts and also participate in global purchase and supply tenders
- Provides effective relationship management with both local and global counterparties by ensuring that the company gets the most competitive purchase and sales deals
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1st degree in Business Administration, Economics or other related area
- 3 - 5 years experience within a reputable corporate organisation in the oil and gas industry
- An MBA is an advantage
JOB TITLE:LUBES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Lubes Manager has responsibility to manage all activities relating to the safe, cost effective, efficient operation and maintenance of the Lubricants blending plant
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and review a viable strategic plan/budget for achieving the division’s short and long term goals
- Develop strategies to achieve planned lubes blending volume at the right cost and quality
- Ensure proper coordination and supervision of all functional sections in the lube plant for achievement of overall corporate objectives
- Ensure strict application of quality assurance principles in certifying that all in- coming raw materials and the final blended products conform to prescribed quality standards
- Develop effective production management policies and procedures to ensure smooth blending activities
- Ensure high level of machine utilisation to improve productivity and reduce cost
- Ensure compliance with HSSE standards in the blending plant
REQUIREMENTS:
- A good university degree in Engineering, Industrial Chemical or Chemistry
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in Quality Assurance, blending or production environment, three of which must have been at Senior Supervisory level

Reporting to the managing Director, the Head IT has responsibility to develop IT strategies for the organization to support corporate strategies and enable competitive advantage
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-ordinate the development of operational strategies and IT policies for the department

RESPONSIBILITIES
Define strategic direction of Human Resources

Coordinate manpower planning across business units
Monitor and review performance management (tools, standards and timelines) and link to rewards
Develop Compensation strategy based on compensation philosophy and business objectives
Develop companywide training curriculum to address individual training plans and communicate training calendar
Establish administrative procedures for requisition processing, verification of incoming and outgoing supply items and maintaining adequate levels of office supplies and equipment stock

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of corporate marketing strategy for current and future product portfolio.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of logistics and optimization of supply chain strategies.
- Liaise with top management and directors.
