POSITION : Solar Technical Project Manager / Site Manager
DESCRITION
Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken and written English (German is a plus)
- Excellent team work and communication skills
- Proactive and independent - ability to take individual responsibility for work
- Must be willing to travel / long-term stays, particularly in Nigeria
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical Engineering Training as an electric installer, foreman, technician or electrician
- Project management experience in the PV field
- Knowledge of CAD (Autocad, Civil3D)
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Knowledge of PV-SYST and electrical design software (Caddy, E-Plan or similar software)
competencies:
- Project management for the entire process - from initial planning up to construction, commissioning, and handover
- Preparation of the technical system design, part lists and system documentation
- Independent selection of equipment, suppliers and subcontractors, including the tendering of scope of works
- Cooperation, negotiation, and joint problem solving with local and international suppliers, clients and partners
- Implementation of requirements
- Working on tenders and development of technical project presentations
- Site inspection and evaluation of ground mount, rooftop and carport projects
- On-site coordination, management and reporting
- Monitoring the completion of the PV projects until commissioning
- Workforce management.
