Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Analyst.
This pivotal role, based in our warehouse, is responsible for supporting both the finance and procurement teams.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting or finance, with 3-5 years of experience, and a proven track record in managing a large number of SKUs (Stock Keeping Units). This position requires a keen eye for numbers, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to contribute to effective financial forecasting.

Responsibilities
Vendor Relationship Management:

Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Financial Analysis and Forecasting:

Work closely with the finance team to provide financial insights related to procurement activities.
Conduct cost analysis and contribute to the development of accurate financial forecasts.

Demand Planning:

Work closely with sales teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies accordingly.
Develop and maintain accurate demand plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Cost-Benefit Analysis:

Conduct cost-benefit analysis on various procurement strategies and recommend adjustments for optimal financial outcomes.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the supply chain.

Data Analytics:

Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions in procurement and finance activities.
Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators.

Continuous Process Improvement:

Lead initiatives to streamline and enhance supply chain processes, reducing lead times and improving overall efficiency.
Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with the finance team to align financial goals with procurement strategies.
Work with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure seamless integration and communication across the supply chain.
Provide insights and support for cross-functional projects impacting the supply chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
3-5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or supply chain role, preferably within a warehouse environment.
Proven experience in managing a large number of SKUs and conducting detailed financial analysis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

Salary
N550,000 - N600,000 monthly.
