We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR / Office Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Human Resource (HR) officer is a skilled and qualified HR expert whose role is pivotal to any organization with a workforce. Along with our present HR Officer, you both will recruit, and manage every aspect of the employment process, including, orientation, and training of new staff members, managing payroll, support and develop talents through developing policies and managing procedures.
  • Working with Admin Manager, You will be responsible for administrative tasks and while contributing to making the company a better place to work.

Responsibilities
Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Coordinate recruitment processes:
  • Conduct interviews and screenings.
  • Onboard new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee inquiries and concerns
  • Resolve employee relations issues
  • Conduct exit interviews.

HR Policy and Procedure Implementation:

  • Implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Employee Engagement and Recognition:

  • Implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Recognize and reward employees.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety training.

Payroll and Compensation:

  • Process payroll accurately.
  • Administer compensation programs.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs
  • Coordinate training programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs.
  • Resolve benefits-related issues.

Performance Management:

  • Support performance evaluation processes.
  • Monitor performance metrics.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Maintain HR records and documentation.

Requirements and Skills

  • OND / ND / BSc / BA in Business Administration, Social Studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • The successful candidate must be a mature person, have proven managerial skills and expertise in managing people. She/He must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • She/He must display maturity in handling sensitive cases and the capacity to analyse and provide solutions to complex HR cases. She/He must have spoken and written communication skills. Moreover, being service and solution oriented and a team player is a must, as you will have to deal with staff members, managers, and other parties outside HR Unit.
  • She/He must be proactive and able to make contribution to various on-going, to future HR initiatives and to various reports. She/He must make attention to detail, be flexible, ready to take more responsibilities and be able to deliver under pressure on competing priorities. She/he must have analytical skills, drafting skills, innovative approach to HR service delivery and advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Proven working knowledge of HR Tools and software is a must.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
