Position: Head, Manufacturing and Engineering

Job description

Proactively maintain a good cooperation with corporate M&E, local R&D department and other functions of the company.
Advise the Managing Director on technical investments (Economical, investments, safety, manufacturing, environmental and technical).
To secure a well trained and motivated staff
Create and implement a motivated maintenance and manufacturing department.
Continuous drive for efficiency improvement through hands on management of Manufacturing.
Proactively participate within the Nigeria Management Team.
Facilitate the best possible cost of production focused on cost price, production efficiency.
Minimize scarp and wastages.
Implement and maintain international standards (ISO, HACCP).
Secure production in correct timing, cost, quantity and quality.
Guarantee adequate production reporting on the company’s Nigeria Management.
Advise the General Manager on any possible improvements in Nigeria factory (Economical, investments, safety, manufacturing, environmental and technical).
Evaluate, manage and control investment and maintain budgets.

Prerequisites (minimum requirement)

Bachelor of Engineering ( BEng or BE) - Second Class Upper
Bachelor of Science (BSc) - Second Class Upper
10 - 15 years
