The University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) was officially commissioned on the 23rd of July, 1983 by former President Aliyu Shehu Shagari, GCFR. The hospital is the largest tertiary health care institution in Nigeria with 1577 bed capacity Offering world class training, research and medical services.

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Staff Nurse II

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Requirements

  • Basic Qualification: Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) certificate from any recognised Institution.
  • Registration: Registration with the NMCN and valid Practicing License.

CONHESS 6.

 

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer I

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Requirements

  • Basic Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering from any recognised Institution.
  • Registration with COREN is highly advantageous.
  • Completion of NYSC or exemption/Exclusion letter.

 

Job Title: Dental Technician

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Requirements

  • Basic Qualification: National Diploma (ND) in Dental Technician from any recognised Institution.
  • Registration: Registration with the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria, and valid Practicing License.

Salary
CONHESS 6.

 

Job Title: Electrical Engineer I

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Requirements

  • Basic Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering from any recognised Institution.
  • Registration with COREN is highly advantageous.
  • Completion of NYSC or exemption/Exclusion letter.

Job Title: Environmental Health Technician

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Requirements

  • National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technician (EHT) from any recognised Institution.
  • Registration with EHORECON and valid Practicing License.

Job Title: Health Records Technician

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Requirements

  • Basic Qualification: National Diploma (ND) in Health Information Management from any recognised Institution.
  • Registration: Registration with the HRORBN and valid Practicing License.
