Job description

The Stock Accounts Keeper will be responsible for the management, record keeping and safety of stock. The role is based in Lagos
Responsibilities

    * Verification of inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
    * Stock Management and Record keeping
    * Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shipments and goods transferred between boutiques.
    * Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects, reporting any damage to line manager.
    * Keep records on the use, damage of stock and stock handling equipments
    * Recommend disposal of excess, defective or obsolete stock
    * Ensure that there are adequate stock levels of consumables (receipts, invoice booklets, shopping bags) is maitained
    * Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools or other labeling equipment.
    * Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    * Submission of monthly report on fast-selling and slow-moving items.
    * Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities

Qualifications et experience

    * University degree in Accounting
    * Minimum of 4 years experience in stock keeping and accounting
    * Experience with luxury brands is an advantage
    * Excellent record keeping, oratory, presentation, and report writing skills
    * Excellent use of Ms-Excel and Peachtree packages are necessary
    * Numerically savvy
