Administrative Support Staffs at a Non-governmental Organization

We require the services of highly qualified candidates to fill the position below to support the secretariat for the Northern Traditional Leaders on Primary Health Care Delivery:

Job Position: Administrative Support Staff

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Secretarial training an asset.
  • At least three years experience as a secretary in a demanding office environment, ideally in public health and/or communications sector
  • Secretarial skills including proficiency in IT, typing >40 wpm, use of office machines including photocopiers, scanners, fax; and meeting organization skills including preparation of minutes
  • Proficiency in preparation of and response to high-level correspondence
  • Proficient IT skills including use of Word, PowerPoint, proficiency in internet browsing and use of email
  • Organized proactive, anticipates needs
  • Proficiency in English and Hausa essential; additional Nigerian languages an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to deliver on deadline in a fast-moving environment.
