Description – External
Role Synopsis
• Be the single point of contact in the respective Product lines for any Quality issues.
• Monitor performance and effectiveness of the Quality Management System at Product line level and report the results to GeoMarket QA Manager
• Interact with other functions within the GeoMarket to ensure proper functionality of the Quality Management System, reporting to GeoMarket QA Manager about changes which might be implemented.
Key Responsibilities
• Implements, maintains and continually improves BHI Quality Management System.
• Provides training, tools and techniques to allow other functions to achieve the established goals and objectives.
• Ensures that processes are conducted according the QMS requirements and continually improve them using 6 Sigma techniques.
• Ensures compliance to relevant applicable industry standards (DS-1, NS-2, ISO, API, ASME, ANSI, etc.).
• Manage monthly Management Review meeting within the Product lines.
• Follows-up and closes audit findings using available reporting systems.
• Supports Customer audits to BHI facilities.
• Participates in failures investigation supporting Reliability and R&M functions.
• Reports nonconformities and DMR’s.
• Provides training to all personnel about BHI QMS and related tools.
• Support Quality Inspection at shop operations level and ensures accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Follow-up on the DMIAC process with RE.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Basic Qualifications
• BS degree or equivalent; Master Degree preferable
• Minimum of 4 years in Quality Management
• Preferred minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Standards (i.e., ISO, API, DS-1, TQM)
• Preferred minimum of 2 years relevant oil field experience

• ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor
• ISO 9001:2008 / API Q1 Knowledge and application.
• Baker Hughes Product Lines knowledge (Basic Level)
• 6 Sigma Process Training
• FCPA
