Qualification:
• Possess a minimum of BSc. degree in an Engineering, Business or equivalent commercial discipline. Membership of relevant professional institution will be an added advantage, but is not mandatory;
• Have a minimum of 15 years in an Oil Exploration and Gas Company, with a minimum of 15 years cognate experience in contract management/supervisory positions. Must have in-depth understanding of critical contractual and commercial considerations as it pertains to On-shore and off-shore drilling activities, EPCI, General Engineering and Marine related contracts;
• Be proficient in the use of MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint, Sun and/or SAP applications,;
• Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and be able to mentor, teach, motivate and inspire others;
• Be numerically literate and be able to demonstrate above average proficiency on the use of Microsoft excel;
• Be highly confidential and possess strong sense of integrity ;
• Be an excellent team player, target driven and an organised self starter with high sense of responsibility, but must also have the ability to demonstrate patience and understanding.

Rotation: 6/2
Rate: 800-1000USD/day worked, based on experience, qualifications etc
Travel: Business Class Flights
Insurance: Medical, repatriation and emergency

Job function:
Follow up materials or equipments to arrival point of destination, timely while ensuring vendors perform relevant contractual obligations to meet the company’s requirements and in accordance to government rules and regulations.
Accountabilities:
• Plan and follow up delivery with vendors to ensure materials and equipment are arrived timely with minimize discrepancy and damages and in accordance to government rules and regulations.
• Assess into details Monitoring and Ensuring vendors comply with P.O. delivery terms and conditions to avoid delay in delivery.
• Act as focal point of coordination with material sourcing staffs, customers and vendors to clear pending materials receipt from damage/discrepancy timely with company benefits.
• Initiate progress meeting with vendors as and when required to update or discuss on the delivery progress.
• Prepare expediting reports on regular basis to customers to update purchase order delivery status and support customers monitoring purposes.
• Coordinate vendors to provide us for track performance of purchase orders from manufacturing to delivery of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate logistics staff with appointed contracting companies to ensure delivery as per agreed schedule.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors & subcontractors to get solid support on deliverables (both Long-lead as well as Short-lead items)
Requirements
• BSc degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain management in the oil and gas industry.
• Working experience in Nigeria (particular swamp area) is preferable.
