JOB OPENINGS AT TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANY IN LAGOS

JOB TITLE: PAYROLL OFFICER
JOB LOCATION :LAGOS

JOB FUNCTION

  • Update and ensure integrity of staff compensation details on ERP payroll system
  • Review/ validate payroll-related schedules against relevant monthly payroll instructions
  • Process salaries and other benefits accurately and promptly
  • Facilitate the process of Salary and Pension account opening for all new staff
  • Manage the relationship between the company and banks effectively to ensure that employees receive optimal rates for consumer products
  • Compute and prepare the schedules for payroll-related deductions e.g PAYE, pension contributions, Employee Compensation Scheme, etc
  • Co-ordinate the processing of staff Tax Clearance Certificates (TCCs)
  • Track and handle payroll related queries/disputes
  • Compute exit benefits for exiting staff (retirement, resignation and termination)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by theManager-Employee Services


REQUIREMENTS:
First degree or equivalent in any relevant discipline

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in a payroll-related function
