JOB TITLE: PAYROLL OFFICER
JOB LOCATION :LAGOS
JOB FUNCTION
- Update and ensure integrity of staff compensation details on ERP payroll system
- Review/ validate payroll-related schedules against relevant monthly payroll instructions
- Process salaries and other benefits accurately and promptly
- Facilitate the process of Salary and Pension account opening for all new staff
- Manage the relationship between the company and banks effectively to ensure that employees receive optimal rates for consumer products
- Compute and prepare the schedules for payroll-related deductions e.g PAYE, pension contributions, Employee Compensation Scheme, etc
- Co-ordinate the processing of staff Tax Clearance Certificates (TCCs)
- Track and handle payroll related queries/disputes
- Compute exit benefits for exiting staff (retirement, resignation and termination)
- Perform other duties as assigned by theManager-Employee Services
REQUIREMENTS:
First degree or equivalent in any relevant discipline
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in a payroll-related function
