POSITION : Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationship with clients, vendors and all stakeholders.
- Prompt resolution and escalation of project management issues.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
- Design and adopt appropriate project management policies and strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.
- Co-ordinate projects; development, planning, implementation, monitoring and control.
- Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a budget and scheduling project expenditures.
- Manage all project deliverables and schedule project timelines in line with project plan.
- Perform risk management analysis to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans to manage potential risks.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track the progress of ongoing projects.
- Adopt and apply appropriate technical and quality standards to all projects.
- Manage and supervise all project personnel and subcontractors to foster efficiency and teamwork.
- Monitor all budgeted project expenditures and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Establish a communication schedule to update relevant stakeholders on the progress of the project.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team members and maintain a healthy work environment conducive for their professional growth and development.
Qualifications
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and superb presentation skills to a wide and savvy audience.
- Effective interpersonal skills and client relationship management skills.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
- Intermediate research and organizational skills.
- Strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Highly tuned negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong time management and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Built Environment or Engineering from a reputable University.
- MBA from a reputable university strongly preferred.
- Certification in Project Management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including MS Project, MS Excel.
- Minimum of 7 years related experience in project/development management
- Superior project execution skills.
- Strong selling and marketing skills.
- Effective people management skills.
