POSITION : Operations Supervisor
Description
Operations supervisors is responsible for directing, hiring, training, planning, coordinating and budgeting activities related to the maintenance, construction and installation of furniture pieces for the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Technical course is required
- Proven 1-2 years experience in similar roles
- Experience in project management role is an added advantage
- Excellent computer usage skills including moderate programming skill
- Customer oriented and convincing personality
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes/practices
- Work closely with designers in creating original project specifications/designs and in making any changes to these specifications during the construction process.
- In pursuit of excellence he/she is in constant search for new techniques, strategies and methods to improve the work process to deliver improved quality and/or efficiency.
- Defining work procedures to be internalized and followed by all workers at site to ensure consistently efficient performance
- Hiring, training and general management of all employees/contractors on the project
- Monitoring performance of sub-contractors and staff
- Monitoring project budget and expenses
- Accomplishing project by defining the scope, resources required and planning
- Allocating resources, materials, sub-contractors and other staff
- Ensuring material inventory level is sufficient to support project needs
Salary : N50,000 p/m and other incentive.
