SERVICOM Recruitment for Technical Adviser to the Servicom National Coordinator

The Federal Public Administration Reform Programme (FEPAR) was designed to provide technical assistance to key Public Service institutions in Nigeria. The purpose of FEPAR is to strengthen core Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) systems and its capacity to deliver public services, with the overall goal of a more capable and accountable Government of Nigeria.

Job Title: Technical Adviser to the Servicom National Coordinator
This role will contribute to the achievement of SERVICOM priorities by ensuring adequate levels of facilitation, coordination, support and technical advise to the National Coordinator.

Scope of Work

  •     Support on internal administration
  •     Technical advise on strategies to achieve core SERVICOM mandate areas
  •     Technical advise and support for strengthening tools and processes for embedding service delivering Improvements
  •     Support with identification and service delivery improvement models, Coordination of measurement standards for assessing and reporting on results
  •     Provide advice, training and guidance, where necessary.
  •     Identification of capacity development needs for SERVICOM


Qualification

  •     Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in organisational development
  •     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •     Sound knowledge and relevant experience of performance management, service delivery, customer care strategies and programmes and capacity building
  •     Experience of facilitating participatory goal oriented training events
  •     Experience of working with senior officials at high levels within the public service and well-developed knowledge of governance at this level


Job Timing
This position starts on 15 February 2013 until 14 February 2014, with possibility of extension if mutually agreed.
