POSITION : Ticketing Officer

Requirements

• Successful candidate must live in Lagos
• Must have a 3 years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role with at a supervisory experience.
• With ability to work under pressure and to short lead times and working on own initiatives.

Training and Knowledge:

• AMADEUS or SABER - courses in reservations and ticketing (A must)
• Airline advanced passenger tariff and pricing course
• Recognized IATA or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline restrictions
• Coaching skills
• Good written and oral English language skills
• Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Book reservation (hotel, flight, tour)
• Filling of application form
• Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. visas
• Sending out tickets to clients
• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
• Keeping clients up to date with any changes
• Dealing with complaints.
