Job Summary

  • We are seeking diligent Housekeeper, Laundry Attendant, Waiter, Porter, Barman, Supervisor, Front Desk Officer & Store Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate must be of good character and must work in accordance with the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at all times.
  • The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent attention to detail.

General Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner and providing assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Answering phone calls and providing information to guests about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Processing guest reservations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of guest information.
  • Verifying guests' payment information and processing payments.
  • Assisting guests with luggage storage, directions, transportation, and other requests.
  • Customer Service: Greet guests, take orders, and provide friendly and efficient service throughout the meal, ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience.
  • Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including food and drink items, as well as specials and seasonal offerings. Be able to make recommendations and answer guest questions.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments accurately and efficiently, using a POS system or other payment processing tool. Handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide guests with accurate receipts.
  • Order Management: Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, using a POS system or other order management tool as needed. Ensure that all orders are complete and accurate.
  • Sales and Marketing: Promote hotel services and amenities, upsell room upgrades and additional services, and drive sales through effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks to guests, following proper service techniques, such as carrying plates, using trays, and pouring beverages. Ensure that all food and drink items are presented attractively and appropriately.
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens.
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
  • Updating inventory records and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to replenish stock as needed.
  • Coordinating with other departments to determine their supply needs and ensuring timely delivery of requested items.
  • Conducting regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Managing the storage and distribution of goods and supplies, ensuring that items are stored in an organized and safe manner.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in good working order and report any malfunctions or damage to the supervisor.
  • Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
  • Check and maintain laundry equipment, and report any malfunctions or damage to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that all laundry is properly labeled and stored.
  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

General Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess minimum of a School Certificate / OND / HND / B.Sc Degree with at least 1 year relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience in hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to use computers.
