Hamilton Lloyd and Associates - Our client is a leading global brewery and bottling company spread across the world with recent presence in Nigeria. Due to internal expansion processes in their Nigerian office, they have decided to hire an Operations Manager.

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Intafact Onitsha, Anambra

Role Summary:
To manage warehouse performance and activities in order to surpass delivery challenges and meet internal customer requirements whilst ensuring optimal utilization of company assets

  •     Operations team, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, Production
  •     Customers (Retail / Distributors / Agents), Suppliers, Contractors, Stakeholders


Responsibilities:

Planning

  •     Departmental plans aligned to business strategy
  •     Finance personnel support
  •     Depot strategy document
  •     Warehouse Standards
  •     Plans communicated
  •     Plans built into team / individual goals
  •     Warehouse Goals


Financial Control

  •     Budgets and forecasts determined
  •     Monthly financial results scrutinised and variances to budget/PF investigated
  •     Variable costs not to exceed agreed standards
  •     Cost saving measures applied where possible.
  •     Essential capital investments (CAPIN) identified
  •     Budget expenditure controlled
  •     Fixed costs managed to or below agreed standards


Budgets

  •     Finance policies and procedures
  •     DODs
  •     Finance personnel


Information Systems

  •     Information systems fully utilised
  •     IT personnel
  •     Company Information Protection Policy
  •     Authenticity and currency of information checked
  •     Information security maintained in accordance with Company Information Protection Policy.

  •     Warehouse capacity and layout optimised
