Qualifications/Experience:
The desired candidate:

  • Must possess first degree (B.Sc/HND in Accounting or its equivalent in a relevant field. ACA / ICAN is required.
  • Must possess a Masters degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in full accounting or finance practice in an nongovernmental or other relevant organisations.
  • S/He must possess ability to use relevant accounting software and ERP software like SAP.
  • Must possess excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Creativity and strong analytical skills are important for this position.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and MUST possess a high level of integrity and responsibility.


Job Description This is a Senior Management position which the successful candidate will be a key staff in managing and supervising of all USAID project Accountants and reporting to the Director –Accounts & Finance.

  • S/He will also be a key staff in the ESMPIN project and will manage the project accounts, provide finance schedules to Auditors, produce monthly and other periodic financial and management accounts, as well as donor budget monitoring reports.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation of progress updates and disbursement requests for ESMPIN and all USAID projects.
  • S/He will review all USAID project postings in SAP on monthly basis; review sub-recipients financials FAS and resolve all issues arising thereof and ensure prompt disbursement of funds to SRs.

S/He will assist in conducting capacity building for Sub-Recipients.
