RS Hunter is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Regional Trade Marketing


Location: Lagos

Job Role

  • To achieve business goals and brand saliency by devising strategies for the specific region, in line with the overall brand strategy and subsequently plan and implement the same at the regional level.


Key Responsibilities:

  •     Develop country visibility plan:
  •     PICOS development
  •     Costing of brand collateral
  •     Visibility budget
  •     Procurement logistics & deployment
  •     Visibility targets
  •     Set monthly rollout targets
  •     Develop brand execution guidelines by outlet type & category
  •     Deployment timelines
  •     Zone plans
  •     Granulate plan to zone level
  •     Market Visits and Audit
  •     Brand collateral requirements


Branding:


  •     Identify and evaluate branding opportunities across various channels within the region.Conduct audit of the various channels to ensure all Branding is as specified
  •     Ensure implementation of brand guidelines and superior look & feel for ( Trade, Express+, Express, ARPP, XPOD)
  •     Key project team member for rollout of Company’s retail stores
  •    Implementation of Company’s Retail Store Strategy
  •     Rollout of Company’s stores as per set brand guidelines ( Expo, Express+, Express, ARPP, XPOD)


Visibility/Noticeability:

  •     Ensure Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA) target is achieved within given timelines.
  •     Conduct periodic audit to ensure that outdoor material are up to date and meet specified standards
  •     Innovation
  •     Ensure visibility across all channels in the region.
  •     Develop innovative ways of ensuring the brand is visible.
  •     Calculate ROI for all visibility projects.


New Product Launch:

  •     Provide support for Sales team with regards to taking new products to market with the desired impact using innovative means.
  •     Placement of material through agencies or sales team
  •     Removal of materials for expired campaigns through agencies or sales team
  •     Deployment of support collateral material
  •     Defining type of collateral to be used in trade
  •     NFA & P.Os for support collateral
  •     Target setting on no. of outlets for collateral deployment


Communication:

  •     Ensure that all communication for the region is simple and easily understood by all target audience
  •     Ensure communication is done in relevant local languages to ensure reaching wider target audience.
  •     Ensure that all Marcomms activities take place, monitored and ensure quality assurance


Sponsorship:

  •     Ensure Co branding partnerships are well leveraged in the regions
  •     Identify and leveraging suitable sponsorship opportunities to help project brand visibility/generate ROI


Reporting & Capacity Development:

  •     Design regional and zonal trade-related promotions and campaigns with an objective of improving brand adoption and top of mind
  •     Market visits & coaching of Regional teams
  •     Updated country visibility dashboard & trackers
  •     Retail audit scores updates
  •     Internalization of PICOS by all sales team members & RMMs
  •     Facilitate PICOS workshops to sales team & region TMMs
  •     Visibility planning & execution capability at zone level
  •     Monthly visibility review with RMMs to assess performance against set targets
  •     POS Allocation Reports
  •     POS Deployment Reports
  •     Deployment targets updates


Education & Experience:

  •     A recognized university degree, an MBA will be an added advantage
  •     Capacity to ensure adoption of brand and improve top of market awareness
  •     At least 5-7 years working experience Trade Marketing/ Brand Management experience
  •     Ability to identify the most cost effective means of reaching base within allocated region
