Our flagship product, Oyivo SchoolBook [TM], replaces the stock of paper-based textbook with a reliable, portable digital tablet device that includes a variety of textbooks, learning aids and multimedia learning tools, all at a very affordable price point. We assist new authors to develop and publish their textbooks and manu-scripts worldwide. Job Description:
- Oyivo is looking for a Market Development Specialist-Trade to join our team! We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals who can perform a variety of marketing campaigns for our Oyivo Sourcing, Exchange and Market Entry services.

Responsibilities
a.) Production:
- Writes, designs and manages the production and distribution of ads, brochures, newsletters, direct mail and other communication materials
b.) Marketing:
- Work with advertising and promotion managers on all media platforms including web, radio and television to market (but not limited to) Oyivo Schoolbook and Legacy Services.
- Identify buyers for vendors and perform high volume of daily cold calls to market Oyivo Sourcing
- Maintain and build solid client relationships
c.) Research/Planning:
- Research and identify new customer engagement strategies for Oyivo Schoolbook and Legacy Services.
- Use forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products and services
d.) Operations:
- Verify legitimacy of each company
- Register sellers and buyers onto Oyivo Sourcing site
- Liaising between suppliers, manufactures and buyers
- Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives
- Process payments and invoices
- Develops service advertising and promotion programs
- Maintains a log that tracks all transactions and deliveries to prospective buyers
- Specify terms and duration of bidding
- Follows up on all clients purchasing contracts
- Handles customer complaints and resolves all other work problems
- Identify potential buyers and customers for companies interested in marketing their products to the US
e.) Other Duties:
- Provide weekly reports to Country Operations Manager on a weekly basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in marketing or related field
- Experience in sales and marketing
- Basic understanding of accounting systems and procedures
- Must be aggressive and self-driven
