Job Description
This role represents eHealth Africa to provide GIS tracking support for polio vaccination campaigns at the LGA level. The primary responsibilities of the operations team member is to provide functional GIS tracking equipment to vaccinators during IPD campaigns and work with partner organizations to provide accurate feedback and progress reports at the LGA evening review meetings. This person will ensure that the eHealth mission and objectives are communicated and understand at the LGA, and they will be responsible for the following.
- Build rapport and establish close working relationships with the LIOs, WFPs, WHO personnel, LGA facilitators, and other partner organizations
- Coordinate GIS activities at the LGA to ensure effective vaccination tracking operations
- Provide excellent customer service to all partner organizations
- Provide timely feedback to the home office, and communicate issues in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and perform quality checks on all equipment and devices used for GPS tracking activities
- Work with partners at the LGA level to ensure good quality implementation of GIS activities geared towards Polio eradication
- Ensure effective leadership and coordination of all GIS tracking activities in the LGA
- Provide adequate training to ward focal persons during LGA level trainings on reading GIS maps/analytics
- Oversee preparation of vaccination team tracking activities at LGA level and ensure judicious use of all equipment allocated for these activities;
- Work with ward focal persons & WHO field volunteers to ensure that all vaccinators selected to conduct immunization activities carry fully charged and activated phone trackers before takeoff and return them at the close of business every day for uploading of information
- Provide daily IPD progress reports at the LGA evening review meeting using the GIS dashboard to identify missed or poorly covered settlements, and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
- Ensure that updated GIS maps are conspicuously displayed at all ward headquarters and support ward focal persons in using them for micro planning
- Prepare and regularly review/update ward GIS maps with support by GIS lab in the main regional office
- Provide logistics support before campaigns to ensure that all teams deploy on time
- Use all staff management and project management sites effectively
- Provide financial accounting of all monies spent during rounds
- Assist in the organization and management of asset tracking
- Assist in upgrading and installing new GIS software
- Actively participate in office trainings
- Other duties and tasks may be assigned as appropriate

- Proficient in use of IT systems and Microsoft office suite.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to speak Hausa
- Completed NYSC
- Attained University degree, post-graduate or masters degree.
- At least 3 years job experience
Remuneration
Salary: N100,000 – N200,000 per month based on experience
