Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading multination oil & gas company to recruit a Document Control Assistant Manager for its operations in Nigeria.

Function: Administration / Support / Secretarial

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities:

  • The Document control Assistant Manager will assist in Control of all documentation entering and leaving the project.
  • He/She will ensure that all company documentation is generated, recorded, stored and controlled in accordance with company processes and procedures. This includes maintaining all relevant company document control databases and contributing to the continual improvement of document control processes and procedures.
  • He will report to the Document Control Manager.
  • Reviewing documents produced to ensure document layout and appearance is maintained
  • Ensuring document history is recorded and historical information available for review Printing and distributing documentation
  • Provide File management of documentation
  • Producing documents in accordance with company standards
  • Assisting Quality Assurance with quality improvement document recording and processing
  • Ensuring revision control is maintained and that superseded documents are removed from circulation
  • Reviewing and updating document control procedures
  • Liaising with and assisting all departments regarding document control issues
  • Providing administrative support to technical departments


Requirements:

  • BSc in a Management related course
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Organised and attentive to detail
  • Preferably Nigerian, Indian or Philipinno
  • Must have sound knowledge of operating and maintaining databases used for document control
  • Should be capable of working autonomously
  • Good Interpersonal and communications skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Team oriented and outgoing
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems
