Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading sea & air freight logistics provider to recruit an Equipment Handling and Power Generator Manager for its operations in Nigeria.

Responsibilities
- This Manager is responsible for all Installations, repairs and overhauling of material handling equipment, hydraulic and electric systems; carrying out repairs and preventive maintenance of power generating equipment and monitors their fuel consumption.
- He/she is to report to the Technical Adviser.
- Repairs and maintenance of container handling equipment and trucks, terex reach stackers, forklifts, grove, terex cranes and trucks
- Direct involvement in maintenance and repairs of electrical systems/ schematics/ components/power generating equipment
- Installation of generators and training of operators and technicians on how to handle the installed generator
- Maintenance and Service of our company s generators in all locations
- Implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment s
- Build up and reinforce a dedicated workshop team
- Provide assistance to all equipment operators/ supervisors to ensure that assets are properly managed / utilized in accordance with the manufacturers, set standards and capacities
- Ensuring that preventive maintenance programme is carried out in a cost effective manner and to work within budget
- Co-ordinate all the workshop maintenance activities
- Enforcing the implementation of all workshop safety procedure
- Reports directly to the Technical Adviser
- Any other job assigned by the technical adviser
Requirements
- HND / BSc in an Engineering discipline
- 10 years experience in maintenance and repairs of container handling and power generating equipments
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized, meticulous and able to plan and prioritize activities
- Proficiency in Ms Office solutions
- Fluency in English
- Perfect understanding and interpretation of hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems and diagrams
- Post graduate qualification is an added advantage
