Job Location: Onne, Nigeria

Role Summary/Purpose:

Lead all manufacturing operational activities for GE O&G Subsea Systems in Nigeria, including resource and system/process build out to support business growth in-country.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for ensuring all EHS policies and procedures are implemented within the facility setting and improving standards year on year.
  • Set up and lead all manufacturing activities for the business in Nigeria
  • Interface between all GSC functions (EHS, Sourcing, Manufacturing)
  • Reasonable for the overall planning/management of all repair/new build activities for the business.
  • Responsible for setting and delivering (after approval) the manufacturing/ops budget.
  • Responsible for procurement activities, warehouse and planning department.
  • Interface closely with the finance controller and HR to ensure consistent application of HR policies/procedures.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven Manufacturing/Engineering background.
  • Preferable Degree qualification minimum HNC.
  • Strong leadership skill, dynamic, action./results focused.
  • Safety leader.
  • Process Improvement background with experience/qualifications in Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing.
