MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist the Project Manager (& Engineering Coordinator) in managing the Project delivery via having a complete overview (in technical, commercial and contractual terms) of the Project.
2. Supervise and control contractor’s activities especially interface processes from identification, implementation of method up to close out between COMPANY, other work packages and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with Project specifications.
3. Report to Project manager and Engineering Coordinator on progress of his activity, etc.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1. Assist the NOPL Project Manager (& Engineering Coordinator) in performing specific studies on technical, commercial and/or contractual matters, whilst ensuring that scope of work is fulfilled.
2. Prepare reports and presentations on the subject project on NOPL Project Manager’s request.
3. As the NOPL focal point for interface, implement and supervise the interface management between contractor(s) and with other third parties and entities during Basic engineering, Detailed Engineering and Construction.
4. Follow up and report progress to the Project Manager (& Engineering Coordinator) on NOPL interfaces management.
5. Assist the NOPL Package Manager (& Engineering Coordinator) during management, kick-off and other progress meetings.
6. Liaise with HSE and QA / QC managers for specific actions such as JSA, audit or inspection.
7. Perform particular technical tasks within Contractors’ area as delegated by the NOPL Project Manager.
8. Keep awareness of Project planning, progress and cost in order to assist the NOPL Project Manager in decision making process.
HSEQ responsibilities:
1. Support and enforce the Project HSEQ objectives and directives.
2. Support and implement the Project HSEQ management system (plans, procedures and specifications).
3. Listen to, and evaluate any employee concerns; ensure that potential failures, weaknesses and hazards are immediately addressed and reported.
4. Attend HSEQ meetings and training as and when required.
5. Participate in Job Safety Analysis and make safety suggestions.
6. Report any unsafe acts or conditions observed.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
1. Attend Projects meetings as and when required.
2. Ensure accurate reporting of his activities within the COMPANY organization.
3. Review the relevant contractor Project management procedures, plans and schedules, and participate as necessary with contractor.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. 10 years APPLICABLE experience in carrying out pipeline engineering design or construction and /or project management activities.
2. Degree qualification in relevant discipline.
3. Previous work with Oil & Gas EPC contractor or operator.
4. Fluent in English language.
5. Leadership experience.
Rotational scheme: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
