Bradfield Consulting is recruiting to fill the vacant position of:
Job Title: Secretary/Personal Assistant
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description:
- Organising and maintaining MD’s diary and email account, as well as scheduling appointments for MD
- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
- Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
- Coordinating and scheduling all local and overseas business and family vacation travel arrangements for MD and occasionally, accommodation
- Coordinate conferences and meetings
- Complete forms in accordance with company procedures
- Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports
- Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies
- Maintain scheduling and event calendars
- Make copies of correspondence and other printed material
- Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material, and prepare answers to routine letters
- Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors
- Maintaining all personal and professional files, ensuring that a comprehensive filing system is in place
- Carrying out background research and presenting findings, reports and presentations on various matters
- Establish work procedures and schedules, and keep track of the daily work of clerical staff
- Managing MD’s children’s academic and social activities/schedules in Nigeria n
- Manage projects, and contribute to committee and team work
- Order and dispense supplies
- Maintaining confidentiality, recording and filing system for MD’s office
- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications
- Manage all MD’s laundry activities
Requirements
- Must possess excellent communication and persuasive skills
- Must possess an amiable personality and people management skills
- Must be a self starter, result oriented and highly motivated
- 4 years experience in a similar role
- Must be able to work with minimal Supervision
- Must be confident
- Must be able to work on saturdays
