Job Summary
- Administer and develop BTVA’s website, its content management system and its performance.
- Ensure a high quality look and feel of BTVA’s website, and evolve on a continual basis to ensure the site looks fresh and exciting.
- Integrate BTVA’s websites with existing applications.
- Build in-house, new features, design elements and categories as motivated by output.
- Monitor and maintain web server, content and site technical performance
- Monitor other business news sites for cutting edge ideas and capabilities that can be incorporated in our site.
- Establish the purpose of the website based upon its target audience.
- Determine any functionality that BTVA’s site must support i.e. either financial transactions or enquiries.
Qualification and Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Management Information, System Computer Engineering or any related field.
- 3-4 years proven website management experience.
- Understand web trends, including social media.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, javascript, shockwave, macromedia flash, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office).
- Experience of running and evaluating online marketing campaign.
- Knowledgeable in the area of web content management systems.
- Ability to work with HTML, Java scripts, Net data base, Abobe Dreamweaver and content management systems.
- Knowledge of HTML Web technologies and applications.
- Knowledge of PC software, hardware and network essentials.
- Ability to integrate website with other web applications and systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft SharePoint and Citrix client environment
- Software programming and graphics skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
