Our client a leading Telecommunication and Power infrastructure Services Company with operations across Nigeria and West Africa is seeking to recruit exceptional and highly motivated professional to fill the position below:
Job Title: NOC Team Leader / Manager

Job Location: Any City, NG
Roles and Responsibilities
- Leadership of the NOC Team; People Management.
- Put in place an appropriate Team to provide 24/7 Surveillance function, 1st Line Support, some Configuration and Performance Management.
- Responsible for the normal day to day functioning of the Network, Periodic Systems health and performance checks OSS, INALA, IPMS, PIU, Solar Server Alarm Log Browser Etc.
- Provide on a quarterly basis, staff roster schedule and out of hours support details.
- Provide main interface with Customer and Vendors for all Operational issues and tracking issues via a regular review meetings.
- Ensures an escalation of appropriate faults to Second Line support, technical support, engineers, customers, and other groups as needed to narrow investigative efforts, resolve incidents, and build repeatable processes for future incident resolution.
- Ensure Trouble Ticket tracking, updating, rectification and clearance of fault conditions achieving minimal downtime and within defined KPIs with high quality standards.
- Provide out of hours on call support for escalations and where appropriate, ensuring higher management is involved/informed for major service failures.
- Coordinate all activities pertaining to live Network - Planned Works, WOs, SW/HW upgrades etc.
- Provide appropriate Network Operations and Maintenance procedures and processes
- Mentorship to the NOC team and perform on-job training.
Qualification and Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering / Science related field.
- 3 years relevant experience in related field performing network operations task.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as OSS, Windows and UNIX based workstations, shell and other typical network management system platforms.
- Proficient experience in the use of MS Office (Word. Excel, and PowerPoint) is Desirable.
