Our client a leading Telecommunication and Power infrastructure Services Company with operations across Nigeria and West Africa is seeking to recruit exceptional and highly motivated professional to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Support Officer (Project Management Office)

Job Description

The role is to provide full Strategic support to the Project Director, Manager and Project Team, alongside the wider Sector Team for site build would define and maintain standards for project management within the organization.
Strives to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects. Is the source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

Ability to setup and manage PMO according to best practice standards.
provide support to Programs and Projects in tracking and updating project issues and risks.
To manage Risks via Change Management.
To provide support for configuration management and SharePoint administration throughout the project lifecycle.
To review MS Project plans with the Program/Project Managers and maintain the plan including updating milestone dates, capturing new milestones, updating status and advising Project Managers on Change Requests.
To maintain project deliverables throughout the project lifecycles with version control and document management.
Working with the project teams to provide discipline, organization and knowledge of PPM processes /tools/standards;
Custodian of the project data both live and archived documents.

Qualifications and Experience

B.Sc. Degree or HND.
Must have at least 3 years proven experience supporting large nationwide projects within a PMO Environment.
Some experience of project/program budget tracking would be an advantage.
Must have project management qualification, PMO or P3O, PRINCE 2, PPM.
