RESPONSIBILITY
Sales & Financial Management
- Formulate, drive, measure and manage achievement of a multi-product/multi-channel strategy for acquiring new business
- Assume accountability for delivery of Asset and Liability budgets and weekly reports to PBB EXCO
- Drive Collections and GIO strategy in the region implement & reinforce cross-sell strategy
- Monitor adequacy of income from fees and commission
- Accompany branch manager/ sales team when calling on potentially lucrative new clients.

Risk Management & Compliance
- Monitor and manage complete regulatory compliance in the Region including KYC and NFIU reporting
- Monitor operational & process risk controls and levels of authority in the Region to minimise risk exposure
- Track and analyse fraud trends to identify & address weaknesses in systems and process controls
Service Management
- Develop strategies and tactics to increase market share through continuous improvement of existing service levels
- Maintain a close watchfulness and ownership of service trends and customer satisfaction levels in the Region and assume ultimate responsibility for the management and resolution of customer
Credit Management
- Facilitate partnership with Credit to stimulate business growth without compromising risk & assets quality
- Educate and mentor Business/Branch Managers in the general knowledge and application of credit principles and practices in the Business Banking and Personal Markets
People Management
- Plan and manage staffing for the Region, in line with growth strategy and succession.
- Motivate and manage staff in the Region to ensure that performance levels and quality standards are achieved throughout the Region.
- Support all Change Management initiatives in the Region
- Take ownership of performance management in the Region. Chair Regional moderation & implementation of the recognition and reward systems. Ensure poor performance is consistently identified and managed
