Position: Store Keeper
Job Description
- The store keeper is responsible for managing the inventory, storage and safety of the entire restaurant's stores for food,beverage and consumables.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning inspections and checks of store.
- Carrying out inventories without fail as agreed with Financial Controller of items in the store, and working with the Financial Controller on determining the minimum re-order levels for items
- Dealing with any variances in inventories and carry out recounts as informed by Financial Controller.
- Ensure that all items received are stored in their correct manner according to storing location, packaging, temperature, light,humidity etc. on a first in first out basis to enable stock rotation
- Regular daily inspections of quality and state of items in the store rooms according to specified routines and guidelines.
- Prevent entry of unauthorised persons inside the store
Requiremnets
- Should have very good organizational skills
- Should have basic book keeping skills
- Good communication skills
- The ideal candidate should have minimum of 2-3 years experience in stock taking in a similar sector
- Should have a good ability to co-operate, be service- minded and be willing to resume responsibility
- Must be a computer literate
Qualification
- Minimum of an OND certificate
