We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:

 

Job Title: Tax Analyst

Req I D: Req-1393

Location: Nigeria/Malaysia

Description

  • Responsible for preparation / filing of corporate tax returns / indirect tax returns
  • Responsible for review of Accenture deliverables
  • Review of statutory fiscal accounts to meet filing deadlines
  • Timely preparation / review / submission of internal management reports (Tax provisioning report, indirect taxes report, Itax, Country by Country report, Balance sheet notes preparation and review etc.)
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities which have positive P&L impact
  • Achieve operational effectiveness targets set for controls & identify control improvements
  • Deliver on Tax effectiveness & efficiency metric targets set.

Qualifications

  • ERP system and data (knowledge)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience (2+ years if the experience is at the BIG 4 accounting firms)
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Tax / Economics, Management or other related Social sciences
  • Professional qualification desired (ACA / ACCA/
  • CIMA / MIA / MACPA / CPA).

Job Title: Senior Contracts Analyst

Job Description

  • Reviews, negotiates and drafts contracts (under the supervision of the Contracts Manager)
  • Reviews, proposes revisions, negotiates and drafts supplier contracts whenever necessary.
  • Supports the Contracts Manager in the drafting and development of supplier contracts.
  • Administers contracts and ensures compliance with administrative procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with Company policies, standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Uploads and ensures the relevant contracts database is properly updated as contracts change and events occur.
  • Drafts and communicates exceptions to tender documents and RFQ´s under the supervision of the Contracts Manager.
  • Monitors Purchase Orders to ensure compliance with Company policies and highlights and reports any deviations from Company’s client contracts risk standard.
  • Identifies and proposes improvements to existing contracting procedures.
  • Generates contracts reports on a regular basis to properly monitor active and expiring contracts.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of contracts and tenders files.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years work experience ideally in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 1 year experience in a role within the Contracts, Marketing or Legal Departments/a Law Firm.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must have strong ethics in dealings with sensitive information.
  • Degree in Law
  • Professional qualification desired

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Description

  • Balance sheet account review and reconciliation and preparation of associated BS notes.
  • Ad Hoc reporting, analysis or projects as required
  • Assist in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies
  • Provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
  • Provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations
  • May appraise cash flow and financial risk of capital investment projects
  • P&L variance analysis including review of detailed revenue and cost transactions.
  • Subsystem control including client receivables collections and DSO reporting, fixed assets, payroll and inventory.
  • Participation to physical count (inventory, fixed assets) and reconciliation with sub-ledger.
  • Control and preparation of general ledger entries including prepaid, accruals, allocations, etc.
  • Control over systems posting and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Professional qualification desired (ICAN/ ACCA)
