Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company that specializes in maintenance of high rise building facilities with office located in Victoria Island, Lagos. In view of our quest for expansion, we are currently recruiting to fill the positions below:



Job Title: Health Safety & Environment Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
Core functions includes but not limited to:

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing organisational safety programs.
  • You will review and update institutional HSE policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.
  • You will be responsible for writing HSE manuals for the organization.
  • To continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the organisation, you will coordinate training programs for employees and educating workers about site-specific safety measures.
  • In addition, you will prepare monthly reports and make presentations to management.

Requirements

  • HND/BSc. in a related field.
  • 7 years minimum experience in HSE practise and at least 3 years writing HSE policies/manuals.

 

 

 

Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • The preferred candidate will be responsible for maintenance of Chillers, Dampers, Package Units, Split units. Window units, Centralized Air Handling Units and Air filtration Systems.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess excellent planning and analytical, Strong work experience in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning), In-depth knowledge of the general configuration, installation, servicing and repairs of all Precision type air-conditioning systems, Repair, maintenance and installation of all industrial refrigeration systems.

Education

  • B.Sc/HND qualification.

 

 

Job Title: Assistant Procurement Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • The Procurement Assistant officer will procure goods and services in compliance with procurement policies.
  • He or she collects pro-forma invoices on approved purchase requisitions, prepares offer analysis and makes recommendations.
  • Once the purchase order has been completed, the procurement assistant will follow up to assure delivery.
  • He or she maintains procurement data including supplier list and standards of goods and services, and ensures the effectiveness of procurement in timely and cost effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of procurement plan
  • Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
  • Receives approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) for procurement of goods and service
  • Tracks all PRs and determine price competitiveness without sacrificing quality or delivery times
  • Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
  • Responsible for collection of proforma invoices and presents to the supervisor for further processing or approval
  • Inquires immediately for more specifications from requesting units if the purchase request is not clearly specified and completed
  • Assist in conducting vendor sourcing and documentation of vendor documents
  • Ensures that purchases are made in the best interests of the company
  • Assures delivery and pickup of PO for collection of goods
  • Prepares weekly procurement status report and submits to the supervisor

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications / knowledge:

  • HND/B.Sc in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field

Experience:

  • 2 – 3 year's experience

Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Planning and scheduling skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to interact professional with a culturally diverse staff, clients and consultants.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication, in English
  • Excellent Microsoft Office.

 

 

 

Job Title: Admin/HSE Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description/Responsibilities

Job Title: QA/QC Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Profile

  • QA/QC Officer makes sure that products meet standards of quality.
  • They measure and weigh products, examine samples and test them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an ‘inspection’ role within a busy facility management company.
  • Knowledge of Standards of Nigeria (SON) in an Engineering environment.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English language.
  • Computer literate with excel, word and power point.
  • Able to work on own initiative & without supervision.
  • Be a team player

 

 

 

Job Title: Plumber - Technician
Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • Involves maintaining water treatment plant
  • Involves maintaining sewage treatment plant
  • Involves maintaining swimming pool
  • Good knowledge of pipe fittings.

 

 

 

Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • To carry out new installations and construction works i.e. construction and laying of cable trays, ladders and ducts.

Responsibilities

  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
  • Interpret electrical diagrams
  • Install switches, sensors, circuit breakers, control panels
  • Prepare and assemble conduits both galvanized and PVC and connect wiring through them.

Qualification

  • Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician

Other Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an electrician
  • Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems(particularly in engineering firm)
  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.)
  • Demonstrable ability to interpret electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

 

 

 

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities

  • Presenting detailed information on the cost of particular elements of work on a periodic basis to enable payment for those works carried out to date.
  • Organizing the division of a project into its component work packages, then awarding these work packages to smaller, more specialized construction companies offering the best deal.
  • Managing costs to make sure that the initial budget isn't exceeded.
  • Arranging payments at the end of a job and settling the final accounts.
  • Acting as financial advisors and monitoring progress for the client.
